Sorry, no dogs at all. There is livestock in the fields around every pitch and often in the farm buildings, and one loose dog can do a lot of damage. It is the question we get asked most, and the answer has to be no.

Yes, on the camping meadows and in the railway wagon. The bell tent area is kept for over-18s, because it is the one part of the site where people come specifically for the quiet.

Bell tents and the wagon from midday, camping from 3pm, and please arrive by 8pm so we can show you where to go in daylight. Check out is by 12pm unless we have agreed otherwise.

Yes, in the spots already used, and only with wood bought from us. Ours is cut from fallen trees and trimmings on the farm and checked for metal. Please do not scavenge for wood or cut anything back — the riverbank is protected.

Yes, and launching, landing and recovery are free if you are staying. You can drive down to the water to unload. Plenty of people use us as the first night out of Glasbury or Hay.

Not from the site, no.

No hook-ups anywhere on the site, and no generators at any hour. Bring what you need charged, or charge in the car.

Narrow and single-track from Clifford village and Priory Wood, with ramblers, dog walkers and horse riders on them. Note the passing places as you go and be ready to reverse to the last one. It is just over a mile from the village — five minutes at a sedate 20mph.

Please make sure you have a firm booking before sending any money. We take 50% to hold an advance booking, with the balance cleared a week before you arrive; everything else is paid in full on or before arrival. For BACS, reference it with the surname and initial of whoever made the booking. Deposits are not returnable.

By arrangement only — parking and toilets are limited. Visitors need to follow the same rules and be away from the site by 9.30pm.

Not on the farm. Hay-on-Wye is six miles and has everything. We do sell firewood.

Please keep glassware inside your tent or van rather than out on the grass. Broken glass in a field with bare feet and livestock is a bad afternoon for everyone.
